PAVER SEALING IN CENTRAL FLORIDA!

Paver sealing plays a critical part in maintaining the beauty and longevity of your pavers. In recent years pavers have become a popular choice for outdoor spaces in CENTRAL FLORIDA because they provide a durable and attractive surface that can withstand heavy traffic and weather. However, without proper care and maintenance, they can become dull, faded, and stained. Paver sealing helps to protect your pavers from the elements and prevent damage, keeping them looking like new for years to come.

When it comes to paver sealing, it’s important to choose the right product for the job. There are many different sealers available on the market, each with its own unique properties and benefits. Some sealers are designed to enhance the color of your pavers, while others are designed to protect against stains and other types of damage. It’s important to choose a sealer that is specifically designed for the type of pavers you have. For example, if you have clay pavers, you should choose a sealer that is specifically designed for clay pavers.

Before applying the sealer, it’s important that we prepare your pavers properly. We start by cleaning your pavers thoroughly and treating them with the appropriate chemicals. For example, ph imbalances in pavers require a specialized chemical to remove the resulting efflorescence (white spots on pavers).

Overall this process will remove any dirt, grime, or other debris that may be on the surface of your pavers. After cleaning, we reapply sand between the joints. Following this, we allow your pavers to dry completely before we apply the sealer. This is important because applying a sealer to wet pavers can cause the sealer to bead up and not properly penetrate the surface of the pavers.

Once your pavers are clean and dry, it’s time to apply our sealer. We start by applying a thick, even layer of sealer to the surface of the pavers using a specialized pump. We call this the “flood coat” the purpose is fully saturate the pavers and paver joints. Being sure to cover all areas of the pavers, including the joints and edges. Once the first coat of sealer has been applied, we allow it to dry completely before applying a second coat. This will help to ensure that our sealer is applied evenly and provides maximum protection to your pavers.

After the sealer has been applied, it’s important to allow it to cure properly. This typically takes anywhere from 24 to 48 hours, depending on the type of sealer we have used and the weather conditions. During this time, it’s important to avoid walking on the pavers or allowing any water to come into contact with them. This will allow the sealer to fully penetrate the surface of the pavers.
